Introduction

I see therapy as a great opportunity for growth and to add new skills for coping with stressors. Having gone through therapy myself I know that counseling is something that can be beneficial and deeply personal. I believe that counseling provides the unique experience of having an outside and secure avenue to explore personal areas of life. I believe you are the expert on yourself. I seek to connect with my clients and build a good working relationship as I believe this is at the root of every successful therapeutic relationship. I work from a CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Multicultural approach. I have been trained in EMDR and enjoy working with trauma as I believe there is hope in that work.
