*Accepting child and adolescent clients only at this time Therapy should be collaborative, client-driven, and affirming. Historically, therapy has been viewed through the narrow lens of dysfunction and pathology. I embrace a more adaptable approach, highlighting strengths, self-efficacy, neurodiversity, and cultural inclusion. My specialization with trauma grew while working in community mental health with children and teens, most of whom were in foster care and had experienced complex trauma. This has shaped how I view therapy and, more broadly, the human experience. Trauma fundamentally shifts our beliefs about who we are, who we can trust and depend on, and what we expect of the world. My experiences working with trauma have also shown me the innate resilience and transformation we are capable of. Easygoing, in the moment, and humorous would describe my nature. My most utilized methods are Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Trauma - Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). As a Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional, play-based and creative expression approaches are incorporated to meet children in their world.
