Introduction

Hello! I'm Emily Cziglenyi, and I'm genuinely thrilled to connect with you here. As I pursue my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Whitworth University, I'm driven by a deep-rooted passion for helping others. I embarked on this path with a heartfelt wish to support those navigating the complexities of transition, and I'm here to offer that same support to you. In my therapy practice, I’m deeply committed to addressing mental health concerns and challenges, which encompass issues like grief and loss, trauma/PTSD, relational difficulties, family conflicts, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, I’m dedicated to meeting the unique treatment needs of athletes striving for peak performance in the world of sports and athletics. My therapeutic approach is grounded in a deep belief in the power of a person-centered approach, complemented by Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I’m certified in Lifespan Integration (levels 1, 2, and 3) and Gottman Therapy (levels 1 and 2), as well as EFT (level 1). My guiding philosophy in therapy is centered around forming a strong partnership with you. I'm here to provide unwavering support and offer guidance on how to achieve your goals. I'm comfortable with both direct and non-direct therapeutic styles, and I place immense value on the role of relationships in our well-being, recognizing their profound impact, whether we're consciously aware of it or not. Outside of my professional role, I cherish moments with my family and friends, dive into reading and continuous learning, engage in sports, and contribute to my community. I find solace in the great outdoors, especially by a beautiful lake or stream, and I'm always eager to explore new places through travel. To potential clients, I want to acknowledge your bravery in seeking counseling. I'm here to provide a warm and inviting space that is not only safe but also deeply fulfilling, where your unique story is not just heard but cherished. Remember, you're never alone on this journey, and the effort you put into your own well-being is always worth it. All that's required is your openness to the process and a willingness to take that first step. Your journey towards a better and more fulfilling life starts here, and I'm eager to walk it with you. Please feel free to reach out and take that crucial step towards positive change by booking a session with me. Your well-being is my top priority, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.
