Marriage and family therapy NEW WAY GROUP
Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Adoption, Attachment Issues,

Introduction

I became a therapist out of a deep desire to help people feel seen, understood, and supported during life’s challenges. Over the years, I’ve been privileged to walk alongside children, adults, couples, and families as they navigate some of the most difficult and tender seasons of their lives. I have a special passion for working with children and adolescents, particularly those struggling with trauma, anxiety, OCD, or adjusting to divorce and grief. I also enjoy equipping parents—whether biological, co-parents, or stepparents—with tools to understand and support their children more effectively. I approach therapy using a strategic family systems lens, which means I view behaviors not simply as problems to fix but as meaningful signals about what is happening within the family system. In working with children, I help parents learn to “speak kid”—to look beyond surface behaviors and understand what is motivating their child underneath. Whether we’re addressing anxiety, family conflict, parenting struggles, or healing from past trauma, my goal is to create a safe, encouraging space where you can grow, heal, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
