Introduction

I truly appreciate you considering me to accompany you on your therapeutic journey—it's a privilege to walk alongside you during this important time. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a DBT Certified Clinical Social Worker, I draw from a variety of treatment approaches, including CBT and Motivational Interviewing. I'm also being certified in ADHD specialization training, as I believe in continually expanding my skills to better support you. Being a woman of bi-cultural and bi-ethnic Chicano/a/e heritage, I understand the significance of providing care that respects your unique background and experiences. I earned my Masters of Social Work from the University of Washington in 2006, but my journey in social services began back in 2001. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work in many different environments—ranging from working with clients in inpatient psychiatric care to outpatient mental health and substance abuse counseling, and even wellness health coaching. I take pride in connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and navigating challenges of all sizes together. Your perspective is invaluable to me, and I'm here to meet you exactly where you are on your journey. I would love to chat over the phone about your unique situation to see how I can best support you.
