Introduction

Hello, We all know that by the time we reach adulthood, many of us often find ourselves carrying a heavy load of worries and concerns. It is as though we are shackled by our own sadness, loneliness, low self-esteem, helplessness, and other feelings that lead to psychological conditions deeply detrimental to our lives. And yet, even in the darkest of times there is always a way to brake the shackles. My name is Dr. Varda Hakobyan, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychologist practicing Telehealth Psychotherapy across California. I specialize in addressing a wide range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, problematic relationships, behavioral issues, and more. These conditions can often weigh heavily on us, making it challenging to lead a fulfilling personal, social, and professional life. What I want you to know is that I am here for you. I am dedicated to creating a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can feel truly heard and understood. In our work with you, I will use an eclectic approach to tailor therapy to your unique needs. Together, we will build a trusting therapeutic relationship, allowing us to explore the depths of your psyche and work towards healing and growth. What can you expect to gain from our sessions? I work with clients battling with depression, anxiety, and trauma, particularly those stemming from relational or familial issues. In our sessions, we will delve deeply into these concerns and develop a tailored plan to address them, facilitating the restoration of your well-being. Most clients observe a gradual alleviation of symptoms within the first month, followed by sustained improvement. In my work with adults, I find psychoeducation to be an important component that helps individuals to understand and integrate psychological concepts into their lives. This therapeutic element will allow you to build a new outlook on yourself and the world, develop a more complete understanding of your psychological issues, incorporate new healthy behaviors to alleviate emotional pain, enrich yourself and enhance your potential. What treatment methods and tools do I utilize? Drawing from over a decade of clinical experience, I predominantly integrate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Modality, and concepts of Depth Psychology. This multifaceted approach offers a diverse range of techniques and considerable flexibility, enabling us to collaboratively work towards achieving your therapeutic objectives. What are my greatest strengths as a therapist? As an eclectic psychotherapist, I pride myself on my ability to adapt and utilize various modalities and techniques to address immediate concerns effectively. Moreover, I harness the principles of depth psychology, particularly the concept of the individuation process, as a comprehensive framework for guiding individuals towards holistic self-growth. In conclusion, I am deeply committed to supporting you on your journey towards healing, self-discovery, and empowerment. Together, we can navigate through life's challenges and cultivate resilience, insight, and inner strength. Warm regards,
