Introduction

As Clinical Director at Ragin Wellness, LLC, I demonstrate expertise in diagnosis, treatment, and ethical practice working with adolescents and military families as a NBCC CCMHC and NCC, LPC-S. As a National Board For Certified Counselors (CCMHC) Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, my professional certification by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) signifies rigorous national standards for clinical mental health counseling I have met over my 15+ years clinical practice in handling complex cases. I am an integrated clinician, experienced in play in therapy, art, and EMDR and as an EMDRIA Therapist. I provide clinical supervision in the states of SC, NM, and VT, within clinical settings such as hospitals and specialized mental health clinics. As a LPC-S, LPCC, LAC, LCMHC-S, I have a advanced and clinically focused scope of practice, involving diagnosing and treating more serious mental health conditions such as trauma and recovery that may require more intensive interventions. I am a published worldwide author and professional illustrator, Master Six Sigma Black Belt, and ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer, Kickboxing Instructor and Yoga Instructor and Coach. My time living in Japan also has afforded me the opportunity to integrate Reiki, a type of energy healing into clinical therapy. As a practitioner, energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or even emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness. Techniques I use in Distance and online Reiki energy work involves: centering, clearing, beaming, extracting harmful energies, infusing, smoothing and raking the aura to aid in relaxation, assist in the body’s natural healing processes, and further develop emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
