Introduction

she/her CA#34486 | TX#39898 I’m a licensed psychologist with experience treating a wide range of concerns. I specialize in eating disorders, anxiety, perfectionism, life transitions, parent-child dynamics, and acculturation-related challenges. I also provide evidence-based parenting support, both for new parents and for those raising children with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, or learning differences. Among all of the above conditions, I am particularly passionate about treating eating disorders, different forms of disordered eating, and body image dissatisfaction. I am a Certified Family-Based Therapy (FBT) Therapist, was trained by the developer of Family-Based Therapy, and completed two years of postdoctoral training at Stanford University School of Medicine. I have experience in treating children, adolescents, and adults with Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID, OSFED, etc., at a variety of levels of care (in-patient medical stabilization unit, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programming, and outpatient services). During eating disorder treatment, I collaborate with all members of your treatment team (medical oversight doctor, psychiatrist, dietitian) to provide comprehensive, well-rounded care. My approach to treatment is strength-based, compassion-focused, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I’m committed to helping clients cultivate self-compassion and understanding around their challenges, heal from past emotional wounds, gain insight and break the vicious cycle of unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, and develop a deeper appreciation for their personal strengths and values. Together, we set meaningful goals that align with their values—what matters most to them. Since eating disorders are NEVER just about the food or eating, I am committed to helping you identify the underlying issues, including problems with anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, and/or self-esteem that have led to your unhelpful thought patterns and difficult feelings. Contact me for a complimentary 20-minute phone or video consultation, and we can begin as soon as possible. I maintain an exclusive caseload to ensure you receive my full attention and care. I would love to help you move forward in your healing process and gain a sense of clarity, balance, and overall well-being.
