Dakota Lippon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and her Master of Science in Social Work from West Texas A&M University. Dakota has spent the last eight years working in the public school system, where she supported students and their families through challenges that impact emotional well-being, behavior, and academic success. Her clinical experience also includes work in psychiatric inpatient settings, higher education, and with families affected by addiction. As a therapist, Dakota provides compassionate, developmentally appropriate care to children as young as four, as well as adolescents and young adults. She has experience treating a wide range of issues, including anxiety, secondary trauma, grief, depression, relationship challenges, and the many “speed bumps” life can bring. She incorporates evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs and believes in building a strong, trusting relationship as the foundation for healing. Originally from West Texas, Dakota has called Amarillo home since 2013. Outside of her practice, she enjoys reading, working out, engaging in community events, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs.
