Introduction

My name is Colleen DeMeo and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I focus my therapy on high-achieving, perfectionistic adults who have developed unhealthy people pleasing tendencies. If you struggle with anxiety, poor self worth, or maintaining boundaries you're not alone—and you're in the right place to address it. My clients are often the ones everyone else depends on. They seem to be thriving and "do it all" but behind closed doors struggle to feel that they're ever enough. Anxiety, depression & low sense of self are common issues we work through together as we look to decrease negative self talk and increase healthy communication. I use a blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-focused CBT. My style is warm and engaging, with a light-hearted, approachable demeanor. I offer a direct approach when needed, always balanced by compassion and a sense of humor. You don't have to keep white-knuckling your way through life. If you're ready to stop living for everyone else's approval and start connecting with who you are—not just what you do—I'd be honored to work with you.
