I am the founder of the Anxiety and Behavioral Health Center in Frederick, MD. Our Frederick-based practice is a team of psychologists that has advanced education, with over five years of graduate studies, plus specialized certifications in treating OCD, anxiety, and related disorders. We’re committed to a collaborative, goal-driven approach, ensuring transparency and measurement-based outcomes. I provide evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals across the lifespan who are experiencing challenges with problematic anxiety and OCD. I also work with parents who are seeking therapeutic support and interventions to help their children overcome anxiety disorders. Rooted in a strength-based perspective, my approach brings authenticity, compassion, and encouragement to the process we build together. I strive to understand the unique intersectionality that shapes each individual and tailor treatment to their specific needs and experiences. I’m transparent about the interventions I use and how they’re effective. They’re not magic—they’re logical, research-backed methods designed to support meaningful change. Our sessions are mostly active and directive, focusing on skill-building rather than traditional “talk therapy.” I often suggest practices between sessions to reinforce the skills we’re building and keep the momentum going. Above all, I infuse fun, creativity, and curiosity into our work—because they’re the antitheses to fear and anxiety and help make the process both engaging and personally empowering. My ultimate goal? For you to “fire me” when you’ve developed the confidence, resilience, and tools to navigate life on your own terms.
