Introduction

I graduated from Boise State University in 2015, with my master's degree in social work, and have been working with co-occurring/dual diagnosis clients for the past 10 years. My specialty is DBT and Trauma Therapy. I have been working at a Residential treatment center for Substance Abuse for the last 3 years where I help clients learn how to develop coping skills to avoid returning to substances to cope with life difficulties. I have experience with working with adolescents and adults with mental health and/or substance abuse struggles. I am trained in DBT, CBT, Trauma Informed Therapy, Shame-Informed Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
