Chantal is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than a decade of experience in the mental health field, in the community and inpatient setting. She enjoys both group and individual work, and has experience working with adults and adolescents in both capacities. Chantal has a Master’s of Social Work from Simmons College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a minor in Women’s Studies from Northeastern University. Chantal has a particular interest in working with adolescent girls and young women, pregnant and post partum women, and mothers of young children. Chantal is a mother of two school aged children, and enjoys working with other moms who are working on balancing their busy lives with their own self care. Chantal approaches therapy from a strengths based, empowerment focused perspective, and enjoys using mindfulness and grounding techniques in her practice. The therapeutic relationship is extremely important, and Chantal strives to forge that bond through warmth, supportive counseling, empowerment. Chantal enjoys helping girls and women to connect with their light by building self compassion, empathy, and self love. Chantal strongly believes that we are all individuals with unique strengths, and will work with you to overcome the challenges that you may face on your journey toward achieving your goals. In her free time, Chantal enjoys reading and spending time in nature with her family and her Corgi.
