You may come to therapy overwhelmed, feeling stuck in repeating patterns, or looking for clarity amidst life changes. You may be seeking support navigating the impacts of trauma, family conflict, relationship dynamics, loss or political burnout. In therapy, we begin to make meaning of past and present experiences and expand understanding of self so that you may feel more alive and connected to the world around you. Together, we can begin to untangle social and emotional knots and embrace new possibilities for living with more autonomy, honesty, and freedom. Social injustice and political violence are deeply alienating forces that sever our relationships to our world, our communities, and ourselves. Restoring these relationships—particularly after or amidst abuse and harm—is complicated, lifelong work. I ground my work in anti-oppressive, anti-carceral practices, and approach therapy as a collaborative process. At Roots & Branches Therapy, we endeavor to serve a diverse client base. We welcome clients from all beliefs and backgrounds; from all racial, ethnic, sexual or gender identities as well as those in monogamous or polyamorous relationships. We strive to balance our client base between sliding scale, in-network, and full fee clients.
