Hello, and welcome. My name is Dr. Brittany McKee and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst that specializes in Cognitive Behavior Therapy. My primary specialty is working with children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD, ASD, and Anxiety. My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based techniques to support clients in understanding the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I know that it can be difficult to feel stuck, distractible, overwhelmed, unfocused, or to just feel like you can’t quite keep up. My goal is to help you build practical, behavioral skills while also helping you shift thought patterns that can fuel anxiety, self-doubt, and depression. I don’t believe that there is a one size fits all technique that will work for every person. I believe that the people that I work with are unique and rich with personal experiences that require us to work as a team to find the best, research-based, tools and techniques that will work for their specific needs. Together, we will break things down into steps that are manageable and identify what tools are working (and not working) so that you have practical strategies that actually fit into your life. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from University of California, San Diego, both a Masters in Clinical Psychology and Doctorate of Psychology in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I am also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and completed my BCBA coursework through Florida Institute of Technology. I have done one on one therapy with clients since 2016 and I worked in homes as a behavior interventionist and eventually a behavior analyst from 2013-2020. I am currently licensed (LMFT) and certified (BCBA) in California. Visit my website for more information at www.drbrittanymckee.com
