Introduction

Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I’m here to help! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience working with children, teens, families, and adults. I specialize in trauma, attachment, parenting, ADHD, grief, depression and anxiety. My approach is warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental, with a focus on going beyond symptoms to understand the deeper roots of emotional challenges. This is much more than a career for me. This is my life's passion! I consider it an honor to support others in becoming the best version of themselves. I hold a BA in Psychology, MA in Community Counseling and Certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy from Appalachian State University. I am committed to being a lifelong learner and am always furthering my clinical skills and expertise. I'm trained in EMDR, play therapy, expressive arts therapy, CBT & DBT. Therapy can be a safe space to uncover strengths, heal from trauma, build new skills, strengthen relationships & enhance resilience. I believe that healing and positive change are always possible, and that every step forward is worth celebrating!
