Bahiyyih Young (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. She moved to Alaska in October 2018, fell in love, and is proud of her life here. She has been a counselor, advocate, and educator, working with teens, adults, couples, and families in a nonprofit rape crisis center, school-based mental health program, foster care, tribal and community mental health organizations, and group private practice. Bahiyyih is grateful for the rich diversity of Alaska and is honored to live and work on the beautiful unceded land of the Dena’ina Athabascan people.
