My focus includes trauma-informed therapy for LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals. I predominantly work with adolescents and young adults. I utilize evidence-based, affirming practices to support my clients in processing trauma, regulating mood instability, improving relationships, coping with life transitions, and building confidence in themselves. For folx that may benefit from something a bit different than traditional talk therapy, I like to incorporate a variety of activities to support the therapeutic process. This can include walk and talk or outdoor therapy, art, or play. Through a neurodivergent affirming lens, I primarily use narrative therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and internal family systems therapy to guide clients in telling their stories and processing past experiences. How we view ourselves and others matters and shapes how we feel about our lives. Through storytelling, emotional processing, and skill-building, we can build resilience and a greater sense of self. I am passionate about providing affirming, person-centered care to assist individuals in meeting their therapeutic goals, establishing a strong sense of self, and living a fulfilling life.
