I completed my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan and hold a B.A. in Psychology with a Minor in Japanese. My diverse work, education, and training experiences have provided the opportunity to work with female and male adults and adolescents in individual therapeutic settings. I believe that counseling provides a safe place for healing to occur. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we work to identify patterns that may be holding you back and develop practical strategies to create meaningful change. My style is collaborative, goal-oriented, and grounded in evidence-based techniques. Our work will be tailored to you. Whether you’re looking to better understand patterns in your life, manage overwhelming emotions, or make meaningful changes, we’ll work together to find what is best for you. I see this as a partnership: you bring your lived experience and I bring tools and perspective to help you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered.
