Passionate about her work, Ashley strives to create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment to work alongside her clients experiencing various life transitions to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships with others and the world, expanding their emotional tolerance and personal coping skills. Ashley earned her Master’s in Social Work from Walden University and is a Star Behavioral Health Provider for the military community. She has completed EMDRIA approved EMDR training, along with additional training in domestic violence and partner abuse. She has a special interest in working with military service members and their spouses, along with those who have experienced childhood and complex trauma. Ashley uses an integrated approach, meeting the client's needs to help identify and process troublesome thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that impact their life. Ashley sees the client as the true expert in their own life. She believes her role as a therapist is a guide to help clients move towards healing, creating a lasting change to be their true authentic selves and live the fulfilling life they envision.
