Hi, I’m Dr. Angela Ferraz, but please call me Angela. I started my career as a physician in my home country, and after moving to the U.S. with my family, I worked in academia. Over time, I felt called back to direct care—and I chose to dedicate myself to mental health. With my background in medicine and psychotherapy, I bring a holistic perspective to healing. I specialize in supporting healthcare providers, academics, and members of the LGBTQ+ community as they navigate challenges such as trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, and identity exploration. I use a variety of approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Psychoanalysis, and EMDR—always tailoring the work to each person’s unique needs. Above all, I aim to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported in your journey toward growth and healing.
