I started my journey to becoming a therapist at Texas State University, where I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 2016. I then pursued my Master's of Science in Rehabilitation counseling at The University of North Texas. While at UNT, I completed my practicum at the UNTWell Clinic, where I gained specialties in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, school/home transition issues, financial concerns, time management, and sexual orientation. From there, I worked for a non-profit organization that helps individuals with concerns relating to trauma and PTSD. I gained experience with crisis interventions, PTSD, dissociation, trauma-related mental health, bipolar, sexual assault, domestic violence issues, and relationship issues.
