I’m Amanda, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I work with individuals who feel like they’re constantly up against the system, navigating injustice, going through major life transitions, or just trying to find healthier ways to cope with it all. My approach to therapy is nontraditional, deeply person-centered, and completely focused on you. In our sessions, we’ll talk about what’s happening in your life right now as well as your past—especially your childhood—to explore how those experiences may be shaping your current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll build coping strategies that not only make sense in the therapy room, but actually work in your everyday life. My goal is that you leave therapy with a stronger sense of who you are and a deeper understanding of how your mental health connects to every part of your life.
