Introduction

Hi, I’m Alison Tighe, a Master of Social Work (MSW) student at Eastern Kentucky University, currently completing my advanced practicum at Lexington Therapy. I earned my Bachelor’s in Social Work from Spalding University in Louisville, where I had the unique opportunity to study abroad in Ireland—twice! My professional background includes working with adolescents and adults impacted by substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ issues, and interpersonal violence. I am currently working toward becoming a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and plan to pursue my Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential after graduation.
