I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (NJ & PA), Registered Play Therapist, and Approved Clinical Supervisor with over 15 years of experience. Fluent in Spanish, I specialize in working with children (ages 3+), adolescents, and young adults. I am passionate about helping clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, adjustment disorders (including life transitions), and behavioral issues. I also provide parenting support to help families navigate these concerns. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, combining techniques like play therapy, art therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, and solution-focused therapy. I believe in the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment where clients can explore their emotions and experiences while building the skills necessary for personal growth and resilience. As a Registered Play Therapist, I use play therapy as a primary tool to help younger clients express themselves and process complex emotions. In addition to my clinical work at Peace of Mind Counseling, my extensive experience in school settings gives me valuable insight into educational challenges, making me a resource for both students and parents.
